INTRODUCTION
For more than 20 years, Domus Academy in Milan has shared an eminent place on the world stage as an international postgraduate school representing today what Bauhaus and the Ulm School meant in their time. Winner of the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s most sought after design award, with a magisterial list of past lecturers such as Ettore Sottsass, Philippe Starck, Gianfranco Ferré, Neil Barrett and Ron Arad. Domus Academy has always been a true pioneer of “Made in Italy” not simply teaching how to design products, but considering design as a complex, challenging activity which strategically contributes to direct the form and meaning of the industrial production and culturally outlines different aesthetic and social visions.
Today, Domus Academy welcomes 200 selected students from over 50 countries to its new, state of the art, 2.400 m2 teaching and multimedia facilities in the Naviglio (canals) area of the city, to play a part in its innovative and non-conformist vision of universal renown.
Our students are offered a large range of 8 masters and several advanced-level short and summer courses.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SCHOOL

-	Nature : Private institution specialized in Design at the postgraduate level.
-	President : Maria-Grazia MAZZOCCHI (Founder).
-	Location : in Milan, largest Economic Centre in Italy (1.5 hours from Paris by plane and 1.5 hour from Genova and the sea).
-	Experimental Design School : most reknown institution in Italy and among the very few around the World.
-	Students number : total of 203 students are studying at the school.
-	Internships/Seminars/Thesis : contact with professionals is permanent and allows a direct experience with real life.
-	Human size structure: very customized teaching path for an exclusive and powerful brand name.

OUR PROGRAMS

-	Language teaching : except for the short courses (entirely in English) all our programs are conducted in Italian with simultaneous translation in English. However a gradual exposure to Italian normaly allow the participants to drop the translation after 6 months.
-	Awarding body : Double degree with the Masters from DOMUS ACADEMY and the Masters of Arts awarded in collaboration with the University of Wales in UK. The school also awards directly Certificates for shorter programs.
-	November intakes : M.A. in Business Design, M.A. in Interior & Living Design.
-	January intakes : All the 6 other M.A.

CONDITION OF ADMISSION FOR MASTERS

-	Candidates : we are looking for a limited number of very motivated students and we try to diversify as much as we can the origin of our truly international students body (95% are non Italian citizens).

Based in Singapore he covers South-East Asia (starting with Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore), he is there to advise and orientate you, support and speed-up your application process in order to get a clear and fast decision (admission, postponement, rejection).
